Mead Description: Band of Fosters is a limited small batch semi-sweet bochet style mead made in collaboration with Wild West Meadery and 117 West Spirits. We caramelized super bloom honey along with brown sugar, brûléed plantains, and bananas. We then aged the mead on 117 West Spirits spiced rum oak. Band of Fosters is amazingly complex, delicious, and bottled as still style mead to respect its rum profile.
Tasting Notes: Notes of caramelized honey, bananas, and plantains are present on the nose and closely followed by warming notes of spiced rum.
